The Speedfloor suspended concrete floor system was developed in the mid 1990’s by Speedfloor Holdings Ltd which was then part of the Sullivan and Haddon Group.In 2003 the company was purchased by the developers of the product from the Sullivan Haddon Group and set up as a franchised system throughout New Zealand. In 2004 Speedfloor Australia was established and a manufacturing plant was commissioned in Melbourne. The product continued to grow globally and in 2005 a franchise was purchased for the USA. The Speedfloor suspended concrete floor system has now been used in Ireland, Canada, USA, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Honduras, Brazil, Tahiti, Samoa, India and South Africa. In 2010 Howick Ltd became a share holder in Speedfloor Ltd and new products were added including the Speedfloor Steel joist system and the Transportable Concrete floor.

The use of technology in the construction industry offers significant commercial advantages over traditional methods. Speedfloor remains committed to the development and world wide use of these innovative and cost effective floor systems.

The Intellectual Properties have been retained by Speedfloor Ltd.
